A gold pocket watch with magnificent engraving, made by Johannes Dürrstein in Dresden, Germany, circa 1890. This watch has a numbered case, which is crafted from 14 carat gold, has a cuvette with a dedication from 1892, is marked with the Hallmark Dürrstein Dresden and has a back lid with a magnificent deep engraving and a monogram in the center. The white enamel dial has Arabic five minute numerals, Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The movement has a lever escapement and the maker’s mark.
