An extremely large and heavy gold hunter cased pocket watch with anker chronometer, probably made in Switzerland, circa 1890. This watch features a full hunter case, with all lids crafted from solid 14 carat gold and its  numbered cuvette is inscribed: “1 Chaton, Ancre ligne droite, Spiral Breguet, 17 Rubies, Balancier Coupé, Remontoir.” The extremely beautiful enamel dial features an outer minute and hour track with special numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial and gold hands. The numbered movement is equipped with an anker chronometer and a lever escapement.
The case and movement bear matching numbers.
