An important, very fine and extremely rare German 18 carat gold hunting cased chronograph lever pocket watch, circa 1908.
Frosted gilt 3/4 plate movement, blued screws, ground and bevelled steel chronograph parts, ratchet wheel, screwed compensation balance, blued balance spring, florally hand engraved balance cock, index spring fine adjusting device, gold lever and escape wheel. Gold cuvette.
Black enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, sunk auxiliary seconds with 30 minutes counter and gold spade hands. Plain case, inlaid translucent red enamelled monogram, chronograph push button at 6. Cuvette, movement and dial signed.
