A very fine, heavy Glashuette quarter repeating hunting case pocket watch sold on 09/10/1895 for the sum of 966 Marks to Robert Bätcher company in Berlin , formerly with rating certificate of the observatory Leipzig manufactured in quality 1A with Lange extract from the archives, circa 1895. 18k pink gold case, tiered, polished, case design “Louis XV à goutte”, gold dome, glazed movement, slide for repeating mechanism. Enamel dial, Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, gold Louis XV hands. 4/5 plate movement, German silver, “fausses côtes” decoration, screwed gold chatons, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, gold screw compensation balance, florally hand engraved balance cock, index spring fine adjusting device, gold lever and escape wheel, chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
