Gold hunting cased pocket watch by A. Lange & Söhne

An as new, heavy Glashütte hunting cased minute repeating watch  – quality 1C – with Lange extract from the archives, circa 1912. Sold on 11/19/1912 to watch maker Hofstein in Dresden for 1502 Marks.
18 carat rose gold case, tiered, engine-turned, monogrammed, with case design “Louis XV à goutte” and gold dome. Signed enamel dial with Arabic “Empire” numerals, sunk centre, auxiliary seconds and gold Louis XV hands. Frosted gilt 3/4 plate movement with glazed movement, gold-chatoned centre wheel, gold screw compensation balance, engraved balance cock, index spring fine adjusting device and gold lever and escape wheel.
