A very rare, historically interesting, gold and enamel German presentation watch (Kaiser Wilhelm II), circa 1890.
Eppner precision lever movement, 1st quality. Enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track with five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and pink gold Louis XV-style hands. Polished 14K gold case, back with magnificent multi-coloured enamelled imperial coat of arms, the dome with a raised portrait of the emperor Wilhelm II. Case and movement with matching number 72568. Dial and movement signed.
