Rare chronometer with power reserve indicator

A rare Kriegsmarine chronometer, made by Möller-Friedrichs in Hamburg, Germany, circa 1940. The numbered open faced case, marked German Kriegsmarine with the national emblem and the marine deployment number, is fitted in to the mahogany box with a gimbal suspension. The numbered enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock and gold hands. The numbered movement has a  chronometer escapement, a Griesbach balance and a helical hairspring.
Dial and box have matching numbers and dial, movement and box are signed.
