An important, German octagonal one handed neo renaissance ring watch with hour self strike, circa 1895.
18 Carat gold case, foliate scrolls on all sides, ring with supporting column in the form of an atlas, hinged dial cover, rear bell. Gold dial with radial Roman numerals, engraved center and a single precision cut blued iron hand. Full plate movement, fire gilt, with florally engraved locking plate, one hammer, verge escapement and stack freed, foliot.
