A very fine and rare German or Swiss enamel and smoke crystal octagonal verge pendant watch from the 17th century. Hinged octagonal movement with verge escapement. Decorated enamel dial with Roman radial hours, half-hour markers, and single steel hand. Octagonal smoke crystal case with a hinged rock crystal cover that cleverly hides the dial when closed.
