A very fine and heavy German gold hunting cased pocket repeater with special case decoration, delivered to Dürrstein in Dresden in 1889, with an archive shipping.
Glazed movement, early Lange & Söhne precision lever movement, quarter-hour repeater, gold lever, and gold escape wheel. Signed enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track with Arabic red five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and pink gold Louis XV-style hands. Engine turned 18K pink gold case with very rare decoration, engraved monogram, and early Lange & Söhne punch on all three lids.
