Gold watch with enamel foliate monogram

A very fine and rare German, keyless, 18K yellow gold and enamel lady’s pendant watch, circa 1905. Made for Federico Krussmann, Relogio de Precisäo. Engine-turned back with green and white enamel foliate monogram. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold spade hands.

A frosted gilt movement, 3/4 plate typical Glashütte calibre, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement with gold escape wheel and pallet fork, the banking by a single pin in a hole, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
