Rose gold gentlemen’s pocket watch

A very fine 14 carat rose gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Germany, circa 1920. The polished case has an engine turned back and hinged gold cuvette. The white enamel dial has Breguet hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and rose gold spade hands. The frosted gilt ¾ plate movement is fitted with 17 jewels, a straight line lever escapement with gold fork and escape wheel, banking with a pin and hole, a cut bimetallic Lange Guillaume type compensation balance with temperature adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with screw stud and swan neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
