A rare and early Augsburg pair cased verge watch with figurative outer case, circa 1690.
Silver cases; 1st case with figurative scene of a wanderer; 2nd case smooth. Very early verge movement with steep fusee and tulip pillars. Splendid signed gilt dial with central scene with putto, decorative iron hands, Roman hours and Arabic minutes.
