German silver globe watch with gimbal suspension Circa 1700

An absolute rarity this globe watch with gimbal suspension, made by Johann Georg Pfeiffer in Coburg, Germany, circa 1700. The florally decorated globe case which was originally fire gilt inside, was crafted from silver, probably around 1680. The champlevé dial has Arabic five minute numerals, Roman hour numerals and gold hands. The numbered movement and gimbal suspension were crafted later than the case, probably around 1725.
Dial and movement are signed.
