This watch features a pierced case crafted from silver and an enamel dial with an outer minute and hour track with Arabic 5 minute- and Roman hour numerals and iron hands. The movement is signed.

In addition to the impressive appearance of this early Augsburg watch, the striking mechanism is what sets the item presented here apart. It strikes the half hour automatically and also has an hour repeater that is activated by pressing the pendant, without the need to wind a spring.
