A rare Swiss gilt silver open faced key wind gentleman’s pocket watch with regulator dial and calendar, circa 1800. Gilt full plate movement, square pillars, verge escapement, three arm balance, pierced and engraved balance cock with polished steel coqueret, silver regulation disc with blued steel indicator. White enamel dial, eccentric chapter ring with Arabic hours and Breguet hands, center seconds, chapter rings for indication of the date and weekday, polychrome enamel decoration. Polished gilt silver case with case maker’s punch mark PHD.
