A small, decorative, key winding, cylinder pocket watch with digital hours in an 18 Carat yellow gold open faced case, circa 1819-1838.
Silver guilloché engine turned dial with an aperture for the digital hours, eccentric ring for the minutes and blued steel minute hand. Case back guilloché engine turned with, in the centre, engraved in taille douce a standing unicorn. Gilded brass movement with going barrel, cylinder escapement, monometallic balance (gilded brass) and blued steel flat hairspring.
