A keyless English lever with offset subsidiary seconds in a gold half hunter case, hallmarked London circa 1859. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with steel Nicole patent winding work. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, escape and lever pivots with end stones. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds offset at nine o’clock, Roman numerals and blue steel half hunter hands. Engine turned 18 Carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring. Clip on back with small engraved monogram, ribbed middle. Maker’s mark AN in an oval and number corresponding to that on the movement.
