A heavy Swiss 14 carat gold hunting cased key wound pocket chronometer, circa 1870-1890. The movement with a chronometer escapement, a rocker bar, and winding through a chain and fusee. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gold, stone set arrow hands. A polished case. Case numbered. Comes with the original key and presentation box.
