Chrome-plated watch with transparent back

Extremely fine, rare and important, extra large Swiss chrome-plated observatory chronometer with transparent back, circa 1925. One of 88 examples made between 1925 and 1930 for inclusion in Observatory trials. Accompanied by the original Bulletin de Marche from May 15, 1930. A massive, polished case, screwed-down transparent back and bezel. White enamel dial with painted black Paris numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and blued steel spade hands.  A frosted nickel-silver movement, 23 sapphire jewels, Guillaume balance with gold timing screws, blued steel balance spring with Philipps terminal curves. Dial, case and movement signed. This watch is sold with a box and certificate of authenticity.
