An Irish fusee lever in a silver open faced case, hallmarked Dublin circa 1858. Full plate gilt key wind fusee movement with dust cover, Harrison’s maintaining power. Engraved cock with diamond endstone, plain three arm gold balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Blue steel Bosley regulator. English table roller lever escapement. Off white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand and gilt fleur dis lis hands. Faded engine turned silver open faced case with ribbed middle. Maker’s mark JD and number corresponding to that on the movement.
