A fine, rare and large English fire gilded pair cased pocket watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1780. Fire gilded, full plate movement, fusee and chain. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, small seconds at 6 o’clock. Outer case with floral and geometrical decoration, the edge with alternating white and red stones. Movement signed and numbered.
