Full hunter cased watch probably made by an apprentice
–
A large numbered pocket watch in quality 1A, probably made by the apprentice Otto Erhard in Glashütte, Sachsen, Germany, circa 1900. This plain, numbered, hunting cased watch was crafted from 900 silver and the white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock with Arabic numerals and steel hands. The Glashütte quality 1A precision movement has a lever escapement and the plate is signed with the student’s signature. Case and movement have matching numbers, dial and movement are signed.
