A fine Swiss 36-hour going keyless lever marine chronometer with power reserve indication in a mahogany deck box, circa 1945. Rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to three positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring and patented cam-type micrometre regulator. A glazed cover over the movement. Matte silver dial with Arabic hours, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock with Arabic 10-second numerals, power reserve indication below 12 and blued steel spade hands. The two-tier mahogany box with a gimballed and weighted brass case and a threaded glazed bezel with a reeded edge. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
