A Swiss gold, enamel and diamond double dialled verge pocket watch, circa 1780. Gilt verge movement. White enamel dials, to the front Arabic numerals, outer minute track, blued steel hand for date and diamond-set hands, the rear dial Arabic 24-hour indication and diamond-set hands. Foliate polychrome enamel decoration to the bezels highlighted by diamonds. Both dials signed ‘Duchêne & Compagnie’.
