An unusual Swiss gilt and enamel decorated key wind watch in the form of a lute by Lastic, circa 1790. Gilt full plate verge movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, silver regulation. Concealed white enamel dial, black Arabic numerals, black outer minute track, winding aperture at 2 and blued steel hands. Case in the form of a lute, hinged, front showing an enamel classical painting scene, depiction of Diana the huntress to reverse, inner case showing musical instruments of antiquity, floral decoration to band. Signed dial.
