A Swiss gold and enamel manually wound scallop shell form pendant watch with concealed dial, circa 1810. Gilt finished, hinged brass movement, fusee and chain, verge escapement, pierced and engraved continental cock. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, minute division and gilt hands. Shell form case, spring loaded front cover reveals the dial, both sides identically decorated with blue, red, black and white enamel, fixed suspension ring, short chain.
