A fine and rare Swiss silver gilt, enamel and pearl set open faced manually wound centre seconds duplex pocket watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1870. Finely foliate engraved gilt brass movement, duplex escapement. Glazed cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals and centre seconds. Case with split pearl set bezel, rim, pendant and bow, polychrome enamel bouquet of flowers to the back. Case signed, movement numbered 4975 under the dial.
