A fine French gold quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1770. Gilt full plate verge movement, balance bridge with ruby endstone in the centre, silver regulation dial. White enamel dial, Roman and Arabic numerals, outer track for the minute indication. Case fully chiselled and engraved to the back and pierced on the band, pendant activating repeating mechanism. Movement and dust cap signed.
