Gold and enamel hunting cased centre seconds duplex by Fleurier

A Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel manually wound hunting cased centre seconds duplex pocket watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1830. Steel mirror polished Chinese calibre, 12 jewels, standing barrel, ruby duplex escapement, bimetallic balance, index regulator. Red enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands and sweep centre seconds. The case with multicolour florally enamelled bezels, pendant and bow, red reverse printing glass, the back cover is centred by a polychrome enamel scene depicting a bouquet of flowers on a blue engine-turned ground. Dial and movement signed, case numbered.
