Fine and rare English gold and enamel open faced manually wound pocket watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1780. Gilt finished movement, virgule escapement. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Case with red and blue champlevé enamel decorated bezel, rim and pendant, the back with translucent royal blue enamel over engine turned background, decorated with a polychrome enamel vase of flowers. Movement signed and numbered.
