A German steel and varicoloured gold verge pocket watch, circa 1760. Gilded full plate movement, verge escapement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, fusee and chain. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes. Steel chinoiserie case with applied three-colour gold decoration, the back depicting two oriental figures. Dial and movement signed.
