An American gold pocket watch with fancy dial by Waltham, circa 1888. 19 Jewel movement, damascened nickel divided ¾ plate, jewels in gold settings, bimetallic balance, overcoiled spring, micrometer regulator. White enamel dial, blue Arabic chapters enclosing gilt lattice work with red highlights, subsidiary seconds and blued hands. 14 Carat engine turned open face case by N.G. Wood & Sons, chased bezels, monogram in cartouche.
