A fine Swiss enameled gold, platinum and diamond pendant watch and chain by Agassiz, retailed by Bailey, Banks and Biddle, Philadelphia, circa 1910. 18 Jewel manual winding movement, lever escapement, bimetallic balance with overcoiled spring. Silvered dial with Arabic chapters and blued Breguet hands (tip missing from minute hand). 18 Carat guilloché case with lavender enamel within a pierced platinum frame set with round and rose-cut diamonds, the chain of enameled navette links joined by short lengths of platinum chain. Signed by Agassiz on case and movement.
