A French varicolored gold and enamel quarter repeating verge watch by J. Baptiste Baillon, Paris, third quarter 18th century. Gilt full plate movement, fusee, cylindrical pillars, adjustable potence, repeating on bell or à toc by depressing pendant, switch in bezel. Replaced white enamel dial and hands, Arabic chapters. Pierced band with applied varicolored garland enclosing enamel scene of the sacrifice of Iphigenia.
