An 18 carat gold French verge with white dial in a consular case, circa 1780. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with polished steel coqueret, plain three-arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial. White dial with black Arabic numerals and blue steel Breguet hands. Engraved gold consular case, floral design on the back. Gold pendant and bow. Winding through the enamel dial.
