An Irish silver open faced pair cased verge pocket watch, Hallmarked Dublin 1794. Full plate fire gilt fusee movement with round pillars, pierced and engraved masked cock, engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc, plain three armed steel balance and blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, Arabic numerals at the quarters and fine gold cathedral hands. Plain case, silver pendant and bow, maker’s mark JB. The inner case with unusual recessed shutter to the winding aperture.
