An American 14 carat gold hunting cased lever pocket watch, circa 1875. Damascened nickelled 3/4 plate keyless movement with going barrel, plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring, club foot lever escapement, screwed in jewelling. Plain gold cuvette and glazed cover to the movement.Signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and blue steel hands. Plain case with ribbed middle, maker’s mark E. H. & Co. in a rectangle.
