A Swiss gold open faced quarter repeating lever pocket watch, circa 1880. Keyless gilt bar movement with going barrel, frosted steel wolfs teeth winding wheels, both trains fully jewelled including the hammer pivots, plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring, club foot lever escapement, escape and lever pivots with end stones, slide quarter repeating on two polished steel gongs. Plain gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Plain case, gold slide in the band.
