A very rare Louis XV enamel pocket watch, made by Perrard in Lyon, France, circa 1770. The open faced enamel case “Louis XV” in 18 Carat gold mounting has an enamel painting representing a parrot inside. The white “Louis XV” enamel dial, has Arabic five minute numerals, Roman hour numerals and the original hour hand whilst the minute hand is missing. The movement has a verge escapement.
