A fine German 18 carat rose gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made for the Japanese market by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, circa 1886. ¾ Plate movement with a lever escapement and screw compensation balance. White enamel dial with radial black Arabic hours, an outer minute track, outermost red Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gold Louis XV hands. The case with an engraved coat of arms on the front cover and a monogram on the back.
