A rare 18K gold and enamel cylinder pendant watch of exceptional quality, circa 1880. A glazed case back with a view to the cylinder movement, wolf’s teeth and a winding crown in the shape of a tenon.
A two-part case, the upper part with a pendant eyelet and brooch, a polychrome enamel painting on the front, the watch in the shape of a coat of arms is the lower part, polychrome enamel decorated to match, a small central translucent blue enamel dial for the time indication with radial Roman hours, an outer minutes track and baton hands.
