A fine Swiss 14K gold minute repeating hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1880. Engine-turned covers, hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with 5-minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and gilt Louis XV hands. A frosted gilt movement, 28 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Case stamped and numbered.
