Unsigned gold skeletonised amphora form watch

A rare Swiss gold open faced pocket watch with a semi skeletonised amphora shaped movement, circa 1810. This watch features gilded plates shaped like an amphora, adorned with intricately engraved foliage. The top of the watch showcases a visible balance set within pierced and engraved scrolling designs. It has a verge escapement, fusee, and chain, while the back is fitted with a pink metal plaque in the shape of a globe. The small white enamel dial is marked with black Arabic numerals and includes an outer minute ring, complemented by fine blued steel hands. The watch case features gold bezels glazed on both the front and back and a gold pendant and bow.

The movement is not running, but it appears to be balanced and fully wound. The amphora shaped movement plates are generally in good condition, although there is a small solder repair on the front left arm where it connects to the main body. There are some light scratches present. The dial is in good condition as well. The case has some light scuffs and scratches.
