Unsigned gold skeletonised amphora form watch

An extremely rare Swiss gold open faced pocket watch with semi skeletonised amphora shaped movement, circa 1810. The movement features a full plate design with a verge escapement, ornately engraved and gilded to resemble a Greek amphora. It includes a visible three arm balance, a balance bridge adorned with swags and garlands, and a fusee and chain. The white enamel dial displays black Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, and a winding aperture at 7 o’clock. The gold case has a milled band and glazed front and back.
