A Russian heavy and very fine hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch with chronograph and date indicator, circa 1910.
18 carat gold à goutte case, the front lid with applied monogram, gold dome, pusher for chronograph at “12”, and slide for repeating mechanism. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, date indicator at “12”, outer chronograph scale 0-300 and gold spade hands. Bridge movement, rhodium-plated, wolfteeth winding wheels, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, matted and bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, gold screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, counterpoised lever.
