A Swiss gold and enamel hunting cased keyless lever watch, circa 1880. Retailed by Bailey, Banks & Biddle Philadelphia. 12”’ Manual winding jeweled movement with nickel lever moustache escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance and regulator. White enamel dial, Arabic numerals and outer minute track. 18 Carat gold engraved hinged cuvette. Black champlevé enamel case with scrolling foliage design to both covers. Case and cuvette signed and numbered. With a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1880 and sale on September 1st in the same year.
