A Swiss 18 carat gold quarter repeating hunting cased watchmade for the Latin American market, circa 1880. Highly jeweled lever movement, wolf’s tooth winding. Signed gold cuvette. Engraved silvered dial, applied gilt decoration to the center, gilt floral band to the edge, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and fine diamond set hands. Finely engraved case with garlands of flowers, shield to the center with engraved monogram. Dial and cuvette signed.
