A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating calendar watch with moon phases and dead beat independent centre seconds, circa 1870. Highly jewelled two-train nickel lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, slide repeat, repeating on steel gongs. Engraved gold cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes, subsidiary dials for day, date, monthin French and constant seconds with aperture for moon phases. Polished case, engraved monogram to the cover.
