A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased perpetual calendar keyless watch with moon phases, circa 1870. Jewelled gilt lever movement, wolf’s tooth winding, bimetallic compensation balance. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute divisions, subsidiary dials for day, date, month combined with leap year indication, constant seconds combined with aperture for moon phases. Engine turned case. Cuvette and case signed and numbered, case maker’s mark ‘M.F.’.
